The Disability Information and Equipment Centre is a free community service with accurate and up to date information on disability and disability support services.
Contact us for:
- Specialised knowledge on services including information on building access, education, employment, and finance/benefits.
- Joining or making a referral to the Total Mobility Scheme
- Hiring equipment - shower stools, toilet seat raisers, walkers, wheelchairs, etc.
- Purchasing equipment, e.g. handrails, jar openers, scooters, shower stools, walkers, and wheelchairs, etc.
- Travel, Transport, Recreation information including the Travel Axess Database
- Community Contacts, Disability Networking Meetings and the Disability Reference Group
- Presentation to Groups about the Disability Information Service,
- A comprehensive Disability Support Service Directorate
